A new term has started, and we have some new staff ! Wiltshire Portage would like to introduce Phil Tansley CEO, Mary, Sarah and Kali home visitor staff.

Phil Tansley : “ It’s an exciting time here at Wiltshire Portage and I’m looking to get stuck in promoting and raising awareness of our charity. It’s been great to spend a few days with new staff going through their induction with them and witnessing their  excitement to get started.”

Mary  “The team feeling at Wiltshire Portage is exceptional. To start learning the ropes alongside our CEO is a small example of how everybody is valued - and staff who feel valued always work hard! We are going to throw our hearts and souls into this role to achieve the best we can for every child and family ”

Sarah  “I feel very lucky to be able to be a part of such a fantastic service as Wiltshire Portage. I am excited to get started with supporting children and their families whilst working alongside an amazing and supportive team.”

Kali  “I have admired Portage work for years and feel so blessed to have been given the privilege of joining this amazing team and the fantastic work they do! Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly; I can’t wait to start doing shadow visits next week.

What a beautiful smile Jo - even after 40 km!

What a fantastic way to start the celebrations of 40 years of Portage being delivered across Wiltshire.

One of our wonderful Home Visitors, Jo, recently completed the challenge, that she set herself, of running 40 km in honour of our 40th Birthday.

Just to make it more 'interesting' Jo ran 4km, on the hour, every hour for 10 hours so we can only imagine how long that last stretch felt!

By completing this challenge, Jo smashed her target of raising £400 and raised £625 of much needed funding for Wiltshire Portage. All her colleagues could not be more grateful and proud of her achievement. Thank you Jo!

There's still time to add to these funds by visiting https://gofund.me/5d3df69f

Jo made sure she had all the right gear!
